# YouTube Video Script Skill

Use this Skill when the agent turns a video idea into a structured YouTube script.

## Bootstrap (delete after first setup)

Use this section once when installing the Skill.

1. Copy this file into the agent, project, or workspace where YouTube scripts should be written.
2. Fill in the values in `## Setup`.
3. Test the Skill on one real video idea and adjust the structure until it sounds like the creator.
4. Delete this entire Bootstrap section after the first setup.

## Setup

- Channel topic: `<topic or niche>`
- Audience: `<who should watch>`
- Creator voice: `<direct, calm, technical, funny, serious, contrarian>`
- Video length target: `<short, 5 min, 10 min, 20 min>`
- Required structure: `<hook, problem, examples, proof, steps, CTA>`
- CTA: `<subscribe, newsletter, booking, product, next video>`
- Do not include: `<fake stories, unsupported claims, hype that does not fit the creator>`

## Skill

## Goal

Create a script that is clear, watchable, and built around one strong idea.

## Inputs

- Video idea or title
- Target audience
- Main promise of the video
- Examples, proof points, or story beats
- Desired tone
- CTA

## Behavior

1. Identify the core viewer problem or curiosity.
2. Write a hook that makes the video worth watching.
3. Structure the script into clear sections.
4. Add examples, transitions, and proof points.
5. Keep the language natural and spoken.
6. End with a CTA that fits the video.
7. If the idea is too broad, narrow it to one strong promise before drafting.

## Output

- Hook options
- Script outline
- Full script draft
- CTA options
- Open questions

## Quality bar

The script is good when the viewer understands the promise quickly, each section earns the next one, and the language sounds spoken instead of written.
