Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cortension's coaching services and website at cortension.com. By booking a session or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Cortension provides expert coaching services for enterprise engineering teams, focused on AI coding tools including Claude Code and OpenClaw. Services are delivered as:

• Individual coaching sessions: 60 minute live video sessions conducted remotely.
• Small group sessions: Coaching sessions with up to 4 participants from the same organisation.
• Multi-session programmes: Structured engagement packages agreed by separate written agreement.

2. Booking and Scheduling

Sessions are booked via our Calendly scheduling page. A booking is confirmed when you have completed the booking form and pre-session questionnaire, and received a confirmation email from Cortension or via Calendly's automated confirmation.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1 Cancellation by Client

• More than 24 hours before the session: You may cancel or reschedule via Calendly at no charge.
• Less than 24 hours before the session: Cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the session fee. No refund will be issued.
• No-show: Failure to attend a booked session without prior notice will forfeit the session fee in full.

3.2 Rescheduling by Client

You may reschedule a session via Calendly up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling is permitted once per booking without charge.

3.3 Cancellation by Cortension

In the unlikely event that Cortension must cancel a confirmed session, we will provide as much notice as practicable and offer a full rescheduling or a complete refund.

4. Payment Terms

Standard coaching sessions are priced at €300 per session (or equivalent in agreed currency). Pricing for multi-session programmes and group engagements is agreed separately in writing before the first session.

• Payment is due at the time of booking or as specified in a written engagement agreement.
• Payment is processed via our designated payment provider. Cortension does not store card details.
• Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Where applicable, tax will be added at checkout or invoiced separately.
• Volume discounts for three or more sessions must be agreed in writing before payment is made.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of every Cortension session. If you complete a session and do not feel it delivered clear, actionable value for your team, contact us at hello@cortension.com within 48 hours of the session end time. We will schedule a complimentary follow-up session to address whatever was missing.

6. Intellectual Property

Cortension retains all intellectual property rights in its coaching methodologies, curricula, templates, frameworks, and materials. Upon payment of the session fee, Cortension grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use all materials delivered in your session for your organisation's internal business purposes only.

Code, configuration files, or documentation that you share with Cortension during a session remains your intellectual property. Cortension will not use your proprietary code or confidential materials beyond the scope of your session.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties acknowledge that they may be exposed to confidential information belonging to the other party during a coaching engagement. Each party agrees to hold the other party's confidential information in strict confidence and not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent.

Confidentiality obligations survive termination of any engagement for a period of three years.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cortension's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the session(s) giving rise to the claim. Cortension shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages.

9. Warranties and Disclaimers

Cortension warrants that it will provide services with reasonable skill and care. Coaching content reflects knowledge and best practices as at the date of delivery. The AI tooling landscape evolves rapidly; Cortension does not warrant that all techniques and workflows described will remain current beyond the date of the session.

10. Acceptable Use

By booking a session, you agree that you will not record a session without prior written consent, share or resell session recordings or materials commercially, or use session content to develop competing coaching or training services.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

Cortension reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any written engagement agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cortension with respect to coaching services.
